FAQ

When should I have my fountain?
Our chocolate fountain is ideal for greeting guests upon arrival at your reception in the afternoon. Many people also choose to have a chocolate fountain in the evening alongside their entertainment/buffet.

What chocolate does Lady Chocolat use?
Our chocolate is callebaut - pure Belgian chocolate. It is also nut free and gluten free for anyone with special dietary requirements.

Do you reuse your chocolate?
No! We only use our chocolate once and dispose of it after your event.

I've heard chocolate fountain companies add oil, do you?
We are pleased to say that we do not add anything to our chocolate, because of its high coco content, we do not need to add anything when we're preparing it (it also spoils the taste!) We can guarantee your guests will be served the highest quality belgian chocolate, nothing else.

I've heard chocolate fountains can be very messy...
Rest assured, two members of staff attend the fountain. It is never left unattended. We serve your guests so there is no mess. We provide paper plates and napkins to avoid any spills. We also provide a bin.

Can the fountain be used outside?
Unfortunately, we cannot cater for outdoor events due to weather conditions.

How can I secure my booking?
All we require is a £100 deposit (non-refundable) to confirm your booking. The balance is payable by invoice one month prior to the event.

Will my venue allow a chocolate fountain?
We always advise our customers check with the venue beforehand. There are a small number of places that do not allow chocolate fountains, so always check before you book with us.

Is there anything I need to provide?
The only thing we ask is for your venue to supply a powerpoint and strong table (approx. 5ft diameter)
